The Casthouse (R)Evolution Center (CRC) in Ranshofen is an industry-oriented center of expertise for the production of aluminum cast and wrought alloys.

Since 2020, it has brought together the casting expertise of Gautschi and HPI under one roof, creating ideal conditions for development, testing, and operator training. With a 1,000 m² hall area, the CRC provides access to a Gautschi vertical continuous casting line with a 7.5-ton melting/casting furnace, as well as an HPI horizontal continuous casting line. The CRC supports you along the entire value chain—from customer-specific development services and the production and qualification of sample material to hands-on training for your operating staff.
